Summary: Rehabilitation and care approaches to promote patients' physical and mental activity, the availability and use of social resources, and other related topics were presented with a particular focus on helping patients maintain a sense of purpose in life and lead a full life with and after cancer. In this symposium, a cancer survivor was invited as a speaker, and the topics were addressed in an easy to understand manner, attracting a large number of participants, including not only health professionals, but also cancer patients and their families.
